Description

Inspired by this headcanon on Tumblr:

"In the post-Super Genesis Wave reality, Sonia, Fiona Fox, Mina and Julie Su are in a pop group that secretly doubles as a girl gang. Fiona didn’t turn evil in this reality, but is still very cynical and gloomy."

I really, really like this and this is the result. And because I, a person who simply cannot stop overthinking things, I have created... this. Feel free to skip if it's not your thing.


Fiona
  • (I tried to combine her Freedom Fighter outfit and her Evil outfit together, along with some punk rock/ Moebius elements. And yes, that's Scourge's jacket. (Any guesses on how she got it? Devilish ) )
  • Lead guitarist
  • Won't talk about why she uses a yellow ribbon as a guitar strap.
  • Closest thing to an Emo this group has. Still very cynical and gloomy. (but not evil!)
  • Expert on Zone travel
  • Trust/ Abandonment issues. Also has a fear of needles and becoming someone's lab rat.
  • Secret appreciation of peanut butter cups.
Julie-Su
  • (I took her green outfit and just expanded it from a belly shirt into a jumpsuit, then messed around with the boots a little)
  • Has a few more cybernetics in this continuity but hates talking about how she got them.
  • Tomboy of the group
  • Drummer
  • Feels the drive of the Soultouch and more than anything wants to find out how to fill this hole inside her that she can't explain.
Mina
  • (Slapped together her original outfit, Melody Prower's outfit, and a little bit of Honey the Cat's style, then gave her a ponytail)
  • Lead singer
  • Very open and friendly personality
  • Leader/ Party Girl of the group
  • Started the band to inspire others and help take down Eggman
  • May or may not have the hots for Sonia's brother...(♥?)

Sonia
  • (Total wardrobe change for her, but other than than, not much of a deviation form her Underground look. You'll notice she still has that medallion...)
  • Resident goody two shoes
  • Keyboardist
  • Still getting used to this Zone
  • Best friends with Mina, annoyed by Julie-Su, just doesn't like Fiona
  • There's a big long story on why she's even in this dimension to begin with, but that'll need a whole new post to explain.




And not pictured here, but equally as important in this AU...


Manic
  • Since Julie-Su outed him of his title as drummer, Manic took on the job of the band's manager. Turns out, he's really good at it.
  • A bit more mature nowadays
  • Still a thief, but it takes a backseat to his responsibilities as manager.
  • Taught Julie-Su to play drums
  • Gets along with just about everyone in the band due to him being a funny guy and very understanding listener.
  • Thinks Mina is pretty awesome (♥♥♥?)

And yep- this band is named Fatal Femme. (It's a punk-pop group, so I tried to go for something a little more on the edgy side...? Also, wordplay on the term "Femme Fatale"~)




And beyond all that, (because I was bored), I came up with elaborate histories for each member; how they joined the band, why they stuck around, and a couple of mysteries regarding Zone travel... :secret:
